Absolutely! The insurgency in Iraq is DIRECTLY funded and trained by Al Queda, Chechen terrorists, as well as Syria and Iran (covertly and non-covertly). What most people don't realize is that the Muslum fanaticists declared a holy war on the United States nearly 30 years ago... and we've just joined the war... They've had 30 years of planning and enacting terrorism on the United States (and other western nations), evidenced by the the Iran Hostage Crisis, the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, the USS Cole incident, the Achille Lauro hostage taking, the bombing of the plane in Lockerby Scotland, the first WTC bombing and 9/11, just to name a few. We have been at war with them for 30 years... we just didn't start fighting until now. They don't want to negotiate, they don't want to see everyone live in peace... they HATE the thought of that... they want to see the destruction of the United States... and they believe that is their holy cause.
We HAVE to fight this war. We cannot leave it. As a nation we need to wake up and realize the danger we are in. This pie-in-the-sky "everybody just be peaceful" thing is just naive... and the political maneuvering being done in Washington is just detracting from the real issues.

Yes i do!! If we weren't fighting it Iraq would be full of terrorist training camps for terrorists, and a safe haven for those who plan to ruin the U.S.A.
