Congrats on your upcoming degree! Now for the education:
It doesn't matter what your degree is in. When I was in the Corps, we had officers (aka: zeros) with a wide rage of degrees. They are going to send you to a school for intelligence, and most of those schools train across the department of defense....if not all the services, at least the Marines and Navy train together.
Navy is ok, but as a Marine you won't have to spend as much time on the water and the uniforms are better...lol.
Either way, Good Luck, God Speed and THANK YOU FOR YOUR DECISION TO SERVE TO DEFEND US BACK HOME!

while you're clever, puzzling-working, and prepared to settle for some threat; you're able to do nicely in any branch's intel provider. There are extremely clever people in all 4 branches, Intel and otherwise. There additionally are very dumb people in the Intel fields in all 4 branches. Marine Intel officers and NCOs I even have labored with have all inspired me. in certainty, the only sh*tbag Marines I even have ever met have been recruiters. Air tension Intel persons are somewhat greater of a mixed bag. some are great, yet some are valueless. The worst Intel officers I even have ever considered have been Air tension. Air tension persons do have a tendency to be somewhat sturdy on the technical aspects of their jobs. military i've got not labored with as lots, yet they have a tendency to be exceedingly powerfuble. military (what i'm in) can selection exceedingly some distance. we've been merchandising somewhat rapid over the previous couple of years, so a number of the junior management might nicely be lacking in adulthood. besides the fact that if, it additionally skill that the main gifted squaddies can upward push exceedingly at as quickly as, that could nicely be very worthwhile for them. We even have greater opportunities than the different branch, merely via our length. so some distance as working for a three letter business enterprise is going, it relies upon greater on what you do in the provider than what branch you're in. Being a Marine will never ward off you. The nearer you artwork to the headquarters of an business enterprise once you're in, the less demanding it rather is to get a activity there once you get out. sturdy success

Its "intel" not intell. The Air Force will get you further with better living conditions in better areas of the world. The Navy is second, Army third. Marines....... well run the other way.
But I'm thinking that the coast guard in these post 9-11 days have to have their fingers intel wise everywhere in every agency of the government. They do anti-terrorism, immigration, customs and drug interdiction so they would have to be involved with everything. I find this an interesting thought because I never thought of it.

Well since you can't spell branch, I would say you don't have any intelligence and therefore couldn't be in an intelligence position.
