this may sound really stupid but taking a theater class in your school will gain you 100% more confidence and i promise you that. i took it and have no problems with being shy or nervous before a speech or talking to a really cute guy.

Go out, dress nicely, get a nice haircut, keep yourself well-groomed, and walk out the door with your head held high and tell yourself that you're handsome and intelligent. Not only will you be more confident, but people will respond to you better
