freedom of speech, we still have that right left in this country. it has to be used as a tool of "entertainment". it can't be used as a tool to avoid getting in trouble with the law. so thats the sticky point. some states your not able to have them in your car. in not sure what state you live in but check with your state highway patrol. they should let you know the answer.

yea. you can also buy a police scanner at the store and listen to dispatch. only only illegal if you have one of the ones that you can start talking to the police and dispatch. plus it may seem funny to you but it takes longer for the police to get to the call (instructer got his radio stolen in a struggle)
