Is shyness in a guy, a turn off?

It depends. If the shyness causes a guy to act like a coward, it would be a turn off. But if a guy shows some type of pride and courage in spite of his shyness I think females will find him interesting. I am very shy. But that is not something I chose to be. I had a very unusual and traumatizing childhood which has led me to be very uncomfortable around people. However I have read a lot of books and I am very aware of my behavior.

I think shyness in a guy is cute, as long as there is a limit to it. If the guy (or a girl for that matter) cannot make themselves to utter a word under any circumstances, then it can be a turn off, yes.

It varies from man to man. But I do think shyness is beautiful. It's important to keep one's integrity, without showing weakness. An outgoing (when needed) and confident woman is always a revered one... And it's a good sign to see a man appreciate the quality of being shy in a woman. It shows that the man is sensitive and a true romantic! Great question!! :]

NO i think shyness in a guy is hott i think tht the more shy a guy is the cuter he seams as long as hes not like freaked out if you tlk to him shy then its fine

It depends.
Can he hold a conversation? Is he EVER comfortable enough to be himself around me?
If he can get over his shyness to just be friends with me, it's fine. If he can never really relax around others, I wouldn't consider him to boyfriend material.

it all depends on the girl. Some girls like a guy with an outgoing personality, and some find shy guy's to be cute, and they prefer that.

no... to me actually it's kind of cute. When a guy is shy around a certain girl, it kind of gives it away though, but if you're a shy guy in general, then it's kind of mysterious...

To some girls it probably is. But sometimes its a really good thing to be really shy. It makes us girls want to get to know the person more. It makes you look curious.

nah its refreshing and sweet. I hate how most guys feel like they can say anything...it makes me happy when guys blush when you say something or touch them a certain way I think its cute!
