First don't spend so much time talking on the phone with him for now so that you can concentrate on your own tasks. In allowing more space and doing your own you will naturally bring back the powerful conversation. Read more and watch the news so you know what's going on and you can discuss those things with him. Ask him questions about his interests or talk more about yours if you haven't already.

Also when it comes to phone calls...always end the call first...more intriguing for the guys.

I used to talk until sun up on the phone with my boyfriend. The thing we did was just keep talking about anything. Start off with your day, what you did when you saw each other, what you liked, didn't like and then just let the random stuff come up. Maybe we're just talkers, but we would end up talking about the pro's and con's of peanut butter.

It doesn't matter what you're talking about as long you get to talk to each other and if all else fails, just end the conversation until you've done something interesting to talk about.

Less phone time.

An hour on the phone, take a two hour break, then call him back.

Also, get together and do something.
Face to face is way much-o better than over the phone.

Don't use the phone as the only means to communicate to one another. Go out for a movie or something and get face to face, thats when you'll never run out of things to say.

Simply don't take for so long and spread out the phone calls. Anyone would get bored after awhile. Keep it simple, nice and short.

Stop talking on the phone so long, and go out sometimes.
