The CD changer is built into radio/CD unit in the dash board. The CD slot is just below the radio panel.
To load CD's switch unit on,select CD by turning the right-hand knob of the 3 on the radio/CD unit ( the choice is FM, AM & CD ), the panel will instruct you to load CD, at this point gently feed the CD into the slot, the unit will take the CD from your your hand and draw it into the unit. The same procedure is repeated for the remaining 3 CD's.

my cd changer in my car is under the drivers seat but if the car is used would watch out cos some people take them out and sell them ive seen it done many of times because they are the manufacturers make its hard to find them hence they can be sold for a good bit of money

Try looking in the boot or under the front passenger seat or in the glove box

why didn't he ask when he bought the car?
try pushing some buttons on the unit while somebody listens in the boot area for some whirring/clicking noises

Most likely in the glove box, but could be in the trunk
