The bride usually doesn't speak. Neither does the groom. Usually only the best man and the maid of honor give a speech to the new couple.
We just made our own program and had a "thank you" letter written to our guests. PLUS we went around to each table and thanked everyone again.

Hmmm, I'm not aware that it is the custom for either the Bride or the Groom to make any speeches at their own wedding.
Usually that is up to the best man and/or maid of honor.
But if you feel you must, just keep it short, thank people, say how happy you are. Nobody really likes listening to a lot of speeches.

Brides and grooms usually don't speak at weddings. The best man usually makes a nice congratulations speech adn that should be enough. If you want to speak, you could say that you and your husband want to thank all of you for attending our wedding and sharing our beautiful day. We hope that you are enjoying yourself. Again, thank you so much to all of you.

the best man should give the speech to wish you two well...but a thank you speech (if thats what your is to be about) you and your husband should do together. if its something to your husband and not the guests then it should come from your heart (but thats usually during the ceremony if you write your own vowels).
but if it is a thank you type of speech just mention how happy you are to have your friends and family there with you on such a special day. maybe pick out specific people who helped and acknowlege them on both sides-yours and your husbands-

ok, you could make this the most different speech, one to remember, people will remember your wedding for it being 'different' from the norm
you have to thank your husbands best man, the bridesmaids, the flower girls and the page boys, then you thank each set of parents for financial help and emotional help they have given, you thank everyone coming to share your extremely special day, and then you thank your husband for being there for you, for wanting to be part of your life forever, maybe throw the odd joke in, nothing too personal,
i cant wait to get married, ive told my hubby-to-be that im doing the speech not him LOL
have a great wedding and good luck with the speech

Write down on a sheet of paper why you love him so much and why you decided to marry him. Write about what you expect from marrying him. Organize your notes and prepare a speech.

Just thank everyone for coming and let them know how much you appreacite them for being there and making this day special and one of the happiest days of your life. Dont blab on and on about how much you love your husband and how he completes your life--because he is only going to say "thank you" after you finish--so you'll just look like a
lame-o if he doesnt say the same about you.
