I am familiar with roseola and this is what it looks like but there has been no fever. She seems to be feeling ok. The rash is slightly itchy.

She might have had the fever, and then the rash appeared. Call up your pediatrician and see what he says. She could have other types of illnesses that are caused by fevers, and the outcome is a rash. At the point of the rash in an illness called the Fifth disease the rash only appears after being sick and having a fever.

Your child could have come in contact with something that she is allergic to & developed a contact rash:

There are two types of contact rashes.

The first appears as red, raised bumps or patches, and can have a slight crusty surface. This is generally confined to one or two small areas on the body. It is caused by contact with an irritant such as poison ivy, other plants, cleaners or other chemicals. It is treated with over-the-counter hydrocortisone

The second type of contact rash is more generalized throughout the body, very similar to generic viral rashes such as Roseola . It occurs as fine, red pimples or small spots. It can be caused by a huge variety of irritants such as new clothes, soaps, shampoos, bubble baths, detergents or fabric softeners, suntan or other lotions, bed sheets, grass, swimming pools or anything else that comes into contact with your child's skin. The treatment is to figure out the cause, and use hydrocortisone as above if needed.

My son was sick, and had a fever, after the fever went away he got a rash. I didn't take him to the dr., I think it was just a heat rash from him sweating out the fever. It went away after a couple of days. I rubbed cortizone cream on it, so he wouldn't scratch it.

Try a dose of benadryl. If the rash disappears after a dose or two it was probably a reaction to something. If it happens again... keep a journal of what she is exposed to and has eaten and drunk each day. I had a rash like that and I was allergic to dye in some foods.

Unless he's teething, I would have that checked out. A low grade fever for more than a day or so can be an indicator that something is wrong.

Has your toddler recently had strep throat? She may have had it and you didnt know it. Take her to the doctor, she may have scarlet fever (dont panic) sacrlet fever is just incubated strep which is treated with an antibiotic. I have had several cases at the school I work at over the past three weeks.

Could be a rash from being exposed to a virus or any number of things. I would take her to the Dr to be sure she is fine.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/k0VRk
