coke and mentos?

is it true? and what would happen if i did it in my mouth..

lol not just mentos life save i was in the middle of class and one dropped in it went crazy and went all over the tests and the tests were postponed lol the pressure will make you open your mouth or you will have the worst stomachache and gas of your life dont do it

If you put coke and mentos in your mouth at once, fizz would come out of your mouth because of the chemical reaction.

It works really well, but you wont get the same impact of the experiment with your mouth because of the amount of coke needed to make the large explosion. Diet coke works better than normal coke.

it didn't work for me ):
im 13 and i walked to my local cvs to get diet coke and mint mentos. when i got home i was so excited to test this experiment out. i went out to my backyard. i put five mentos into my mouth and chugged some diet coke.. and, and nothing happened!

yes it is true we did it in science class. it was so much fun!! it shot out like 7 feet!! if you did it in your mouth it would probably just fizz a little bit.
