what is best way to forget about someone?

I know this girl for about 5 yrs and we have been best friend ever since, she cosiders me as her older brother, but i love her and and i don't know if she loves me too, because everyday she is with some guy and when she is with me she starts hugging and does normal things a coples would do, I want to get her out of my heart but not out of my life. What can i do to forget about her and see her as just a friend ?

The best way is to get involved in something... do something for someone else. Some kind of service always helps. If you find someone in need and help them, you create a bond and friendship that helps you forget about the other one. Good luck!

You can't forget about someone. Relationships aren't that easy. Why don't you tell her how you feel and ask her how she feels? This would relieve some pressure and allow you to move on depending on what her answer to how she really feels is. If she feels the same way, then you have what you wanted. If she doesn't feel the same way, you know that you two are just not meant to be and it will allow you to move on a little easier than what you are. Not knowing how she feels and not telling how you feel about one another is the thing keeping her in your heart. You need to get things off your chest in order to get her slowly, but surely out of your heart if that's the case. good luck!

Maybe she was waiting for you for
five years to give her some kind of
sign but you were afaid to tell her.

i had the same problem as a teenager. when my best girlfriend met this guy at the age of 15 it was like i a became a secondhand thought. she's just in love. it could have altered her brain functions.if you want to become friends with her then you will have to do the leading not her. she's too busy with him and can't think of it. i also was bestfriends with my bestgirlfriend since we were both 7 years old.moonraven/cinderella-we used to sleep together in a single bed at her house.

Perhaps the best way is the most expensive way. You can go abroad and forget her clean; I.E. starting afresh. Or, an alternative would be getting a new girlfriend, which is quite effective but it actually depends on how you love her (her as in your new girlfriend).
