i like this guy but he is really not into me because he found out that i am really good friends with this other guy that i have no feelings for. what should i do?

You have every right to have guy or girl friends and as many as you like.
I think he's just using this as an excuse.Let him go.He's not worth it if that's the reason he uses.
Enjoy your friends and you'll meet someone who understands about friendship.

First, how does this "Other guy" feel for you? (Mutual friendship or is he smitten with you?)
Sure, you may not like him, but he may be smitten with you. This sometimes causes other guys to stay away until you have firmly & publically let everyone know that you don't like him. Sadly, this can often be a "Catch 22". The dude you like might freak out if you treat this other guy poorly.
You have to resolve relations with this other guy before you go any further. Sometimes, friendships can last ... but most of the time someone is hurt and separation is necessary for all to be in a healthy mind set. Remember, "We can't pick who we fall in love with ... we can only hope they love us back".

If he is going to be that way... Imagine it... "Hey.. I don't like your friends... Stop being with them so you can be with me." Makes for a lonely existence eh???
The right guy will like you AND your friends or at least be acceptant of the ones you have…

I would confront him, and tell him that the other guy and you are just friends nothing more.

Tell him the truth and just let him know how you feel. If he won't like you b/c of who you hang with, then forget it!
