I am part Irish. My last two ancestors to immigrate to America in the 1800's were both Irish. One might have been one the the many descendants of King Charles II of England and the other one had to make a hasty retreat from Belfast, Ireland, because he took part in Robert Emmett's Rebellion of 1803.
