you need clippers of course, different sizes and such, scissors, a chair or two if its a small shop, some germicidal disinfectant to keep combs free of bacteria and such.... a cash register? umm a few mirrors, thats about all i can think of for now. sorry.

You would have to check with the state laws for your state. Each state has restrictions. You have to have certain things to pass inspections. go to the state board of cosmetology site for your state and get a state law book.

let's see.. a chair, some scissors, trimmers, combs and some of that blue water to soak stuff in. Oh and that stinky powder for afterwards.
