They have a product for white women's hair to straighten it. I used it and it worked GREAT! It is available at any local drug store/grocery store.

There is a high potential for damage if you get your hair chemically straightened. The risk is greater than the reward, as hair breakage, hair thinning, a lack of hair growth, scalp irritation/damage, and hair loss are possible if the process doesn't work well. I would either stick to the flat iron or the curly hair. Wavy hair is beautiful if you know how to make it beautiful; there are many hair products that tame wave and curl so it looks its best.

I would definitely go to a professional salon to get it done. The chemicals you buy over-the-counter are much harsher and you may not get the results you want.
Having two hairdressers in the family, I know from their "do-it-yourself horror stories", that unless you really know what you are doing, it is worth the time and money to have it professionally done.
Best of luck,
Mon :-)

in case you advise the straightening irons, certain, they do damage hair. The implement itself isn't the placement, even if the people who use them. maximum do no longer be conscious of the thanks to apply them properly, and overheat their hair, or do it even as the hair isn't thoroughly dry. Moisture in the hair even as heated will create steam and "explode" the hair on the interior and then in some months, once you've forgotten what you've executed, will the hair come aside and also you don't be conscious of why. countless the nice and cozy temperature safe practices products ought to artwork somewhat, yet ideal use of the irons is what you want to do. do no longer ignore that when the wear is executed, you won't be able to fix it. each thing works. yet you want to apply the right device in the right thanks to get the outcomes you want. utilizing the incorrect device in the incorrect way on the incorrect hair will continuously create a mess.

it probably wont straiten it as perfect as a flat iron would, but im sure that it would still straiten it. if it doesnt work you can always return it too and if you want to be sure you could call a hair salon and ask them because who would know better than one of them?
