I blow dry my hair every week and im getting fed up of split ends. I cut it every 2 months but it's still got split ends =/ and i wanna lengthen it. so i decided it's better if i keep it natural. My hair is kinda wavy but its really dry. Do you know what is the best hair product to keep it moist and looking good?

(wax/gel/mousse/something similar)

my suggestion is to avoid applying too much chemical products (no matter how beautiful they promise to make your hair). applying such products to hair can also cause damage in the long run. start with a mild shampoo, followed up conditioner (herbal essences or ivory are good). avoid blow drying too often. avoid staying under the sun. when you feel your hair's getting dry, just damp it with a little cold water every now and then. do not get hot oil and hair spa and cellophane treatments too often, because once you get into the habit, you can kiss your nice hair goodbye once you miss a treatment...

anyway, these are not backed-up by scientific evidences, but based on experience. i love my hair and have basically followed what I just mentioned above all my life -- and I'm still doing OK with my hair! :)

This may sound odd...but I have read/seen on television that mayonaise does help the hair...it is hard to wash out though, and should maybe only be used once a month. Otherwise...increase the good oil in your diet...try a tablespoon of coconut oil in the morning and at night (organic)...or cook with it; seriously, it has been shown to help the body on so many levels. I actually do this, there is no real taste to it.

I also use organic Hemp oil shampoo, very light and easy on the scalp and hair. And I don't blowdry...it is hard on the hair.

Eggs in your diet may help here too.

Best of luck

get a spot conditioner and rub it on your ends in the shower and leave it for a while as you shave or whaterver. also blow dry your hair on the cold setting or atleast warm... if you can get an ionic blowdryer that might be good.

spot conditioner suggested: herbal essences "citrus lift" rinse out daily conditioner

DON'T BLOW DRY!!!!
DUH!!!!

Just let your hair air dry naturally and you wouldn't have to buy all of those expensive hair products. If you have to blow dry your hair, keep it on the lowest setting.
