Going to church requires discipline just like going to work and for alot of people they can just fine many reasons to just not go since theres nobody making them do so. I myself go to church every Sunday and Wednesday and i throughly enjoy it but, i must admit that there are times i would just as soon stay home when the alarm goes off early Sunday morning but, i choose to just get on up and go and once i'm there i can't say i've ever wished i would have just stayed at home and slept or done something else. I don't believe that you must go to church to go to heaven but, if you don't find time to study your bible at home or somewhere else, how can you expect to be fed with the word of God and i must say that doing so has changed my life and given me a since of real peace that i had never experienced before but, like you said...for some people they can fine time for anything except church and i think it's just a lack of discipline and in alot of c ases, just a lack of belief in God.

Because church is boring. Oh, and I don't believe in God.
But even when I did believe in God at the tender age of eight, I was much more content in playing outside in the sun than being stuck inside listening to some priest drone about some dream he had.

I don't go to church. Church is boring. The seats are not comfortable. I don't like it. I love God and have plenty of time for God.

They are too busy for other things of this world. People say they are saved but, can"t take the time to go to church and worship God. When Jesus saved me, He put that desire in my heart to go. I want to learn more about God, and grow in the Lord.Everybody should go to church. Take time for Jesus, He took time for us.

It's a waste of time and these days, time is at a premium.
Many people also feel that it's not necessary to show off to everyone how religious they are.

It's their decision. They don't tell you how you should spend your time. Some people think all churches want is $$.

I CAN go to church, in fact I've been to quite a few, mostly for wedddings. What is taught there would shame most 8 year olds though.

I can't answer for everyone but I can answer for myself. While sitting in Church, I get the greatest sense of being lied to. Why would I want to sit and listen to lies told to me?

the thing i like most about religion is how if you praise christ and all that then you are bad and lazy.
Maybe we just don't want to go to church.
