I agree. The ones with too much color are not as attractive to me. I really can't stand those cute ones with all the pink and yellow and blue in them.

I personally like black work. To me, color fades too quickly. I know black fades too, but faded black looks better than faded color and you don't have to worry about black mutating into some weird color that completely changes the context of the tattoo.

color, definitely color. i am such a colorful person that black and grey just doesn't seem to fit my personality. i like things that pop. but i do admire the beauty that can come of a black and grey tattoo. there are some really talented artists out there.

Color! I had several color pieces on my arm, then had black and gray work added in the background. But I still prefer the color.

I prefer some color none of mine are plain black though i do have 2 that are a deep purple .. my husband has some gorgeous black and grey ones though depends on your personal preference its on your body for the rest of your life

i have a HOPE tattoo w/rose and butterfly on my upper back/neck in color, then on my lower left side of my back i have my sons exact footprints and initials in black. So id have to say that i prefer black. Stays longer, like my red in my rose has faded faster than the blue in my butterfly...

I like both.. I originally started out with mostly tribal and black and grey work.. but I've gotten a lot more color ones.. specially the one on my left ribs.. *Grins*but I think both are beautiful if done well.

definatley colour im covered in bright tats
i have a huge koi on my back swimming free and that coveres my entire back this is my favorite tat
i have new school sleves which are green purple and red and black and some blue they cover my whole arms
i have over 40 hours of tattooing all of them are coloured if i give you a list of them i would be here all day
