First off Armageddon with Bruce Willis is a movie, and second "gods" armageddon won't happen because god doesn't exist, religion was made to help control people. Also the first religions were made to explain things like the sun, sky, fire, etc...
But i watched something on the History Channel about asteroids and it said in 2020's an asteroid with come close enough to earth that it will dip below our communications satellites.

Although there are meteors out there that have a chance of hitting the earth sometime in the distance future, I believe that at the current state of world affairs, man himself will cause Armageddon, be it by destroying each other or screwing the natural world up so bad that the environment collapses.
