Can I get a belly button piercing at my doctors? If I can, do you think that it will cost more?

Ok, if you can't get it done at the doctors, i have another question.
-> do you think 14 or 15 is too young?

as strange as it sounds, most doctors aren't technically qualified to pierce because it is a specialized trade. you would probably be much better off getting it done at a professional piercing place. i have many customers who are 12-14 years old, as long as you are responsible enough to care for the piercing.

You are obviously too young to get a belly button piercing if you think you can get it at the doctors. There's a reason why you have to be a certain age to get one and it's based on maturity and education. Educate yourself on the pros and cons of piercings before you decide to get one. You will be happy you did in the long run!

no you cannot get your navel pierced at the doctors... you need to go to a tattoo/body poiercing shop.. as doctors are mostly only trained in the medical filed. it isnt a doctors/piercing center... lol but you need to be 18 to get yout navel pierced.. YES 14 and 15 years old it TOO YOUNG! your body has not finished growing yet.. most shops will only pierce if you are over 16 years old WITH a parent with you... to sign papers, ect..

your body is still growing.. if you get the piercing now you will have complcations with it such as migration and you will be at greater risk for rejection. which is the body pudhign the jewelyr out leaving you with a distroed lookign navel badly scarred.... wait till you are at least 16 years old and as one of your parents or legal gaurdian. research and do your homework of a reputable shop first. that th emost important thing.. but ipiericers are trained to do body piercings. doctors arent. unless some crazy chance.. your doctor was a former piercer and carries an aray or different sized jewelry for navel pierings and has an autoclave machinge in his/her office... ,.... =|

i dont think your doctor would do it. first of all they don't have the equipment ...they are doctors; they deal with illness not skin piercing. if you want to get it done safely..check out a few places and pick the one that looks the cleanest. Make sure the are certified to provide piercings. Ask around...don't go to the first place you see. sometimes its worth it to pay a bit more. but i do seriously doubt that your doctor would do it for you, unless they are a good friend of yours a have the proper equipment/ needles needed. good luck =]
