Because God doesn't exist. If I had to go around trying to convince people to believe in the Easter Bunny, I guess that would be a bit difficult too.

Because political correctness has run rampant, while the athiests scream discrimination anytime someone tries to discuss or display their faith - ACLU in tote ready to sue! Now everyone is afraid to "offend" anybody. The constiution said: Congress shall make no law establishing a national religion or inhibiting the free exercise thereof." Thats freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion. And having a Christmas tree is not establishing a religion. Having congress say: We are officially a Catholic nation, 10% of our taxes will go to Rome - THAT's establishing a religion.
Athiests have their own conventions ( I know I was taken to one by a blind date - blind in more ways than 1) and believe me, they were not afraid to talk to ME about THEIR non-belief. Freedom of speech allow us to speak freely about God, something some countries would LOVE the right to do. Yet we have policed OURSELVES to the same restrictions people in less free countries have. If you speak honestly, from the heart, and don't disrespect other people's beliefs (which are often deeply held) - there is nothing wrong with it. Also, from an evangelical standpoint watching others do it, having a pin or bumper sticker that invites questions helps, and pratice practice practice helps too - especially in dealing with helkers or feeling rejected if they dont agree.

Are you asking because you can't tell people about God? In the times we live it's hard to talk about things that are so delicate. Religion and faith are not like they use to be before. When we were children we were taught what to belive and that was that. Now we have been taught to believe in what we want and if you don't there's no problem with it either. And if it's you that can't talk about God maybe you just don't believe in someone that doesn't exist but only in spirit and in your heart. Follow your instincts not everyone believes anymore.

Because a lot of people dont feel the need for God yet. Many times it takes a crisis like death in family, calamity, unfortunate circumstances to make people ask if there is a God, or seek God...
Also people may be confused since there are so many religions around, so its not easy to make up their mind which God is true.
But its important to sow a seed whenever there's opportunity so that it may sprout in the future, tho we dont know when.

As a Christian, sometimes it is hard to talk about God. It's a personal thing for me. I have to be able to open up to someone enough to tell them about that part of my life. Also, sometimes we fall into the misunderstanding that we are responsible for what someone chooses to do after hearing about God. We are never responsible for someone's choice. We fear rejection, but we have to remember--we are not being rejected. Christ is. It isn't an easy thing to do. Sometimes, we are afraid we have to know all the answers, but we don't. The truth is--we sound more realistic if we admit that we don't know everything.

Most people who believe in a God, have fabricated Him in their image, saying things like "My God would never judge anyone, or send anyone to Hell", that is unless it is someone who disagrees with them. They want God to submit to them on their terms. the problem is that their god doesn't exist, much less have the power to save them from death. And another problem is the belief that everything is relative, there are no absolutes, which is a self-defeating statement. All we can do is witness to them about salvation, pray, and walk the walk, not just talk the talk, and let the Holy Spirit do His work.

A lot of people have hardened hearts to the whole subject, this can be intimidating. When I start to become a little less secure I pick up the word and read the sermon on the mount in matthew. Why? It reminds me of the attitude I should have. How can you help anyone if you are too afraid to do the work? Humble yourself before God and man, it makes it easier to be helpful to both.

Because they won't listen. Just lead by example. People without God will soon start to wonder why your life is so much better than theirs.
I know, I've lived on both sides of the fence and the Christian way is the only way that leads to true happiness.

I believe it is because we worry to much about what others think. I love telling oters about God no mater how they feel about me afterwards. The most important issue is they turn to HIm and kive forever with him. Eternal life. God says o spread the gosple and that does inclde all christains not just preachers teeling the gosple
