Don't give up. I graduated high school, but my husband dropped out his last year of shool . He got a construction job and makes far more money than I do.

Also, you can always get a GED. Talk to your local employment agency. They can help you.

Are you still having to deal with this phobia? Or is it pretty much resolved? That would be your first step.

You are definitely eligible for homeschooling--or were you already homeschooling? And you want something else? If you still did something for your education in those 4 years, there are definitely options out there--online schools, for example. If you didn't really do anything, that's okay--you can still do something about it. There are adults who at the age of 50 can't read and write and don't have a basic education and who still manage to get educated. At 16, you can do this.

You need to sit down with your parents and talk about what you are ready for, what you are wanting. The fact that you're 16 and don't know what a job is doesn't really mean anything because many 16yo's haven't a clue what a job really is nor what a cv is. But if this is something important to you, list it as something to work on. Create your own plan of studies. Find out what's available where you live other than through the schools. If you are going to homeschool, find homeschooling support groups to not only get you out and meeting people, but also to have support in getting yourself back on track.

Good luck!

I can relate to you bro, but not with 4 years. I've been out of school for almost a year and been homeschooled, always stayed home on the computer. Talk to your parents, don't commit suicide, please. Your 16 now? Same here, just finish schooling and then find a job. If your scared of being around other people, work on it. Take a walk every day and when you see another person, just say a simple "Hi, how are you?". And smile. Things like this can help you overcome your fears of being social. Hope this helped!
