Okay, i weigh 132 pounds and im 5'2 or 5'3, and so that makes me look chubbier than what i really am. Summer is almost here and im so sick of spending every summer trying to lose the 20 pounds ive always wanted to lose.. So i want this summer to be different.. i wanna have fun and look good instead of spending all summer trying to lose it.. I want to lose 20 pounds before may 20th.. Can anyone tell me how i can do that? It makes me feel so terrible that my boyfriends stomach is flatter than mine!! Please help... THanks

go to a pyschiatrist and tell them you have ADD, get perscribed adderall. It kills your apetite. Then you'll stop eating and loose weight. It works!

From what you have said, you are getting plenty of exercise. How have you been eating? This does not require calorie counting. Eat whole wheat breads, plenty of vegetables and fruits (in that order). Drink plenty of water which flushes impurities out of the body. Don't worry about how quickly you lose the weight. Actually, the slower it comes off the higher the chances will be of the weight not coming back. I began exercising and losing weight a year ago and so far I have lost 29 pounds. When you first begin losing weight and watching what you eat, you will be hungry. That is perfectly normal. I recently purchased vanilla and chocolate drink mixes that I purchased from a health food store. They help stave off hunger. I hope this is a good help for you.

You need to exercise. I'm sorry to say it, but eating right only gets you so far. Ask your mom if she can get you tennis or swimming lessons for an hour or so a couple of times a week. In addition to that, make sure that you skip dessert as often as possible and ONLY EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY. My problem used to be that I would eat when I was bored, but if that happens, either go outside or come here on Answers and answer some questions. As long as you burn 200 extra calories and eat 300 calories less than normal a day, you will be losing about a pound a day. Work hard and dedicate yourself- I did, and at around 5'4 I'm down to 106 pounds. Good luck!

The absolutely best way that I have found to lose weight is a computer program! You enter your weight daily or whenever you weigh, then enter your food and drink, and any physical activity. It gets to know your personal metabolism and tells you how many calories you can have every day to lose whatever your goal is. Several people in one household can use it and each one can be password protected. I don't want my BF to know my weight so that's why I use a passowrd. ;-)

The best way to lose 20lbs quickly is of course like everyone is saying eat good, eat grilled chicken breast somewhat and lots of fish, mostly tuna and salmon (watch for the mercury content), drink at least 12 cups of water everyday throughout the day, plenty of vegetables as raw as you can take them, stick to bran or some other cereal with plenty of fiber for breakfast, and as for exercise get a Pilate's video or take a class and the weight will fall off like you never had it. And in keeping with the Pilate's you will be able to eat whatever you want this summer. Enjoy it and do not feel guilty.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

Don't compare yourself to anybody, because you are the only one of you that there ever will be, and you are beautiful! (Yes, even if you think that you need to lose 20 pounds!)
I try not concentrate on the number of pounds, but how good you feel while doing the excersise, and toned your body is (or will) get.
Do excersises like crunches, squats, lunges and push-ups to get your muscles moving, and also do (minimum) 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week.
You'll be toning up your muscles, and burning calories and the excess weight.

By the way, your BMI is 23.380, and I don't know what your age is, but I don't think its that bad! I used 5'2 1/2 for your BMI.

Well I just want to tell you that you are beautiful the way you are, but if you want to drop some pounds and feel better, here's the facts. Try different workouts that help tone your body. Make healthy choices when it comes to eating. Instead of pizza, try a salad[without fatty dressing]. Instead of soda, drink water or seltzer. Balance your meals, but never starve yourself. That's unhealthy and certainly will NOT help you if you try to lose weight. Remember that it's not a diet, but a lifestyle. GOOD LUCK!

I know how u feel, i am just like you, first thing you can do is either join a gym or buy a treadmill, second you need to start changing your eating habits ( i know it's hard, believe me!!)try to eat at least half of your meals and save the half for later for dinner or a lite snack.

You should buy those smart ones meals or lean cusines these are good because it has the amount of calories you should have in a meal so it fills you up just enough.

If you get urges try to snack on fruits or make a salad for yourself but the most important thing is to workout, i have just recently started working out on my treadmill and it was hard at first because i wasn't used to it but now i feel great and i have noticed that my body is changing alittle. Don't give up it takes time but much more dedication, my boyfriend gives me alot of support and has been such great help.

You can do it, just don't give up and just be positive, just keep telling yourself that YOU WILL LOSE 20 POUNDS and Look fantastic!! I wish you the best of luck in your quest. Take care.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
