How the Lord taught us how to pray, " My Father in Heaven. Holy be your Name...". Make it personal and honest from your heart. From there read other examples of what to pray in the Holy Bible. Like to pray for one another... Confess sins...
Also, give thanks in everything for this pleases God. Whining doesn't please God.
The Father would have us pray in Spirit (spiritual/anointing) and in Truth (honest from the heart).
When one is born of God, one can pray to the Heavenly Father 24/7 anywhere or anytime. Because you have the anointing, the Spirit of Truth. That is the connections to pray in spirit & truth. And the Spirit leads whether to lift your hands up to Abba Daddy, or to get on your knees, or lay on your bed, or praise God in Spirit, etc. It starts with an honest heart before God, and then do what the spirit leads. If the Spirit leads you to get on your knees or even on your face, do so. If the spirit leads to stand & lift hands toward heaven, then do so. If the Spirit leads to pray for others even crying, do so.
And if your are repenting of a sin, it is always good to thank Jesus for shedding His Own Blood for the remission of your sins, first.

Tell God about everything. God loves you so much. Even if he nows about how your day went, tell him! I usually bow my head and close my eyes. But you can pray any way you want (as long as its to God). I would hope that you wouldn't close your eyes and bow your head while driving. That would not end well. I pray to God about everything. I just talk to him like he's right next to me (usually in my head so I don't disturb whos around me). Just praying a routine prayer before bed and meals wouldn't mean anything. It would just be a ritual that you do for yourself, and not to thank God.

Prayer should come from the heart. And you always want to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. There's no wrong way to pray except reciting prayers that some one else wrote and made up. Prayers should be your own not some one elses.

Well a prayer is a personal thing. You kinda have to do that on your own. but I was always tought at my church to start with a "Dear God" and end with a "in Jesus name amen" but fell free to change that (although I heard to most respectful way to end a prayer is something like "in Jesus name" or "in your son's name") and to pray for... just pray for things you need help with or other people. and thank him for the good things
God bless

How, where and when you pray makes no difference to God. Start with Lord or God or Jesus or whatever name you call Him and always end with "In Jesus name ... Amen or some version of this. Ley your prayers be your own not some rote bable. Peace :-)

Just pray like your talking to your father. There is no correct or incorrect way to pray. I usually thank Him for loving me and for forgiving me for my sins. I also pray for other people as well but, like i said to start with, just talk to him like you would your father or, your best friend. I'm sure that sometimes my prayers seem to lack style but, i know that it's not style He's looking for. It's obedience and love for one another so, maybe you could even ask Him to help you love other people as you love yourself and just ask and allow the Holy Spirit to help you pray.
God bless

There are no rules for praying. Praying is talking to God. Tell him anything and everything. Feel free to share everything with Him. He knows everything already anyway. He loves to hear it from you. Though remember - the communication goes both ways. You have to listen to His reply. Pray expecting answers, whether it be the answer you want or not.

Always start with praising God in some way. I.E. Almighty Father, Powerful God, Loving creator and so on.
WIthout a doubt you should end every prayer by calling it in the name of Jesus Christ.
I feel that a good before bed prayer should always consist of thanks for the day that has past and to wake up healthy the next morning.

Start them by telling Him who you are speaking too, direct it towards Him that you might have his ear. End it in Jesus name. Everything in the middle is for you and Him to know, think of it as the secret between you and father. He wants to know everything you have to say, so speak freely and openly, it's okay to not agree with Him on things too! Just tell Him so, and He will show you why it is that way. Just keep your eyes open.
