Yes the procedure is safe. I wouldn't recommend it for a 14 year old for one of to reasons:

1) Your eyes could naturally readjust themselves.
2) Since your young after you have the laser surgery/treatment the your eye sight change again similar to the way your eyes change a little bit each time you get new glasses.

Hope this helps.

Laser eye surgery is generally very safe, with only a few minor complications arising from it in a few people. Any good doctor will tell you of all of the risks in laser eye surgery, mostly troubles with night vision and glare from lights.

No good eye doctor will perform corrective eye surgery on a 14 year old boy unless it is extreme circumstances. I was not considered an acceptable candidate for it until I was about 21 years old, and my eyes had completely stopped growing.

secure and sensible no lengthy time period uncomfortable area outcomes. some surgical procedures at the prompt are not one hundred% able and human beings nevertheless ought to positioned on glasses yet maximum of the time they artwork thoroughly. If the physician seems in the slightest degree skeptical, settle for a no and bypass on. do not basically bypass for the most inexpensive position. in case your issue is too complicated it will be truly truthfully worth the added money to get a more beneficial progressed physician. on the different hand those surgical procedures are often extremely undemanding and if there aren't any topics the low fee version will be basically as sensible.

No you can not have it at the age of 14. You have to be 18 and still, there are restrictions. You'd have to look into them. They are things such as.. Is your eye sight really bad?? There are many concerns if it is. Also, do you have any astigmatism and such? Also, many concerns if you do.. I'd say look into it. But, you do have to be 18. Sorry! Hope this helps.
