Christians should follow Jesus and live like Him. Jesus is perfect and man is not. A true christian will try to live right. Sometimes they may backslide and get away from God for awhile. Some people think or want others to think that they are Christians when they really are not. Some people try to get Christians away from God by telling them false doctrine. People should be able to tell that people are Christians by the fruit the produce. Christians will have good works coming from them.

well who knew satan knew how to use the Internet too bad he cant hardly speak English or make an understandable sentence. Well satan the root of Christianity is good and holy just as God is good and holy so there is no reason to cut down Christianity, just to prune the branches you have infected.

it should apply to all Christians.... love joy peace patience goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control are all fruits and when you are a christian, you should be recognizable by these things... if we do not produce fruit we will be removed from the vine (Jesus) .... you need to read the whole Word, not pick and choose all that you want to believe..... the 'whole' tree, if you are considering Christianity.. you cannot find that all Christians are not producing fruit... I know many who do and i know some who do not

Amen is the only true thing to say. People produce from their heart. It doesn't matter what they say.
One point to consider," he that is without sin, let him cast the first stone."
there are also many Christians trying to live a life in accord with the spirit of God.
"God is spirit and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth/"

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
This is the fruit by which we are known, or not known.

Anyone who has read the bible knows what you are talking about. Basically, it's like one rotten apple spoils the barrel. And you're right....if a person is calling themselves a christian but isn't behaving christ-like, they are ruining it for those who are representing their faith well.
The people who don't think it applies to them are the ones who think they are christians because they go to church or profess that they know god. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

According to the bible..the tree is first pruned so that it will bear more fruit. Only a dead tree (spiritually dead) cannot be pruned and hence, is good for nothing more then to be thrown into the fire.

Shalom (christianity_must_fall),
The root of a "religion" and the root that produces fruit in each individual Believer's life are two different things. Rememer what harsh words Yahshua (Jesus) spoke against the "religious" Pharisees. ~)~
To simplify the passages you are questioning let me direct you to the Day of Judgement.
in Matthew 31:-46; Jesus uses the picture of a shepherd seperating His sheep from the goats to explain what judgement will be like. Yahshua doesn't judge them on their apparent religiousness, He judges them on how they treated each other. Interestingly, both groups are surprised by Yahshua's judgement.
"But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.
"And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will seperate them from one another, as a shepherd seperates the sheep from the goats;
"and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'
Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink?
And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?
And when did we see You sick
or in prison, and come to You?
"And the King will answer and say to them, "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of the least of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.
"Then He will also say to those on His left, "Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;
for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink;
I was a stranger and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me.'
Then they, themselves also will answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?'
Then He will answer them, saying, "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did it not to Me.'
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into etrnal life."
"christianity_must_fall", (interesting name you chose),
Let YHWH be YHWH and be each man and woman's judge and jury.
As Christians we are instructed to "pray for those who persecute you." Prayer is far more powerful than criticism, condemnation, and judgeing another or others.
I know we all get angry and fail at loving our neighbor; I just did this myself the past few days. But the good news is we can repent and begin again. ~(~
Peace.

Because they believe that they are suppose to sin over and over again. So they chose to sin, thinking it is okay and dismiss the teaching of Jesus by saying I could never be like Jesus because he is perfect. It says in the bible to confess your sin ask for forgiveness, and not repeat the sin again. (This is not word for word). A lot of things are ignored, except for the part if you do not believe what they believe you will go to hell. It is really sad.
