I am shy and lots of people (on yahoo answers) that shy guys are cute, can you back that up with good reasons? or why shy guys are weird?

In my opinion, shy guys are cute.
When I see a guy that is shy, that puts a smile on my face because I know that that guy isn't going to put all judgmental or say something really rude and such. The guys that aren't shy are really annoying because they speak their mind and just get on your nerve!
But honestly, sweetie - it depends...
Some girls like shy guys and some don't. It all has to do with personality so as long as you have a wonderful personality and know how to talk to girls and treat them well, you're set!

it depends on the girl. some girls like shy guys and think they are totally adorable, while some girls will be turned off by shy guys because they are afraid to make the first move, etc. i personally love shy guys=) it's just so cute when they blush and stutter♥ i'm shy myself as well.

i think shy guys are cute, but they should be able to well not be shy when there around - say the girls parents etc

Shy guys are simply.. shy! lol They are afraid to express themselves. Most of us like guys who are confident in themselves.. not that shy guy aren't confident, it just seems that they have a little less confidence than the average guy.
I used to like them, but now I like a good balance.. someone who knows when to talk and when not to talk =P

Shy is cute, but unfortunately so are puppies. Puppies don;t get laid. You need to string together some confidence with your shyness and the shyness will get them interested but the confidence will keep them around.

Shy guys are cute to girls because that puts them in control. most normal guys dominate girls, but shy guys are too weak for that. They will act 'nice' to a girl and then she can feel superior to him.

Some women are weird. And i think they're lying cuz i'm shy and no one thinks i'm cute. :( Well, some girls do... but not enough to make me validate that statement.
