Do you think it's a great thing if god send some one to die for you ?!

sure , and you are not alone ,

many people think it's very great if anyone die for us, or work to give us money, or risk his life to keep us safe .. right ?

it's very great to do anything for us , and all we have to do is to accept the free gift and love him , .. but that's not it , there is heaven waiting for us too , that's the best plan from the best god ever.

I don't understand why anyone would say no to that !

Unto jesus be all glory, power, and praise

Amen

I asked this same question final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, whilst as an atheist in a Catholic extreme college I had a number of of threat to get human beings thinking. the way that the chaplain (who grow to be coaching the class at that factor) defined it fairly is that it ties in to the OT know-how of god and that the OT god mandatory blood sacrifices or the penance wasn't finished. He stated that it is actual erroneous, that god could forgive the human beings with or devoid of bloodshed, yet this grow to be the Jewish custom. So, using fact Jesus grow to be Jewish, the belief grow to be that he may be the sacrificial offering, and because he's meant to be the two god and guy, that's extra appropriate than some pigeon or a lamb. His blood grow to be meant to be the epitome of sacrificial selections. when I asked the chaplain why that mattered for the reason that he'd only stated that god could forgive with or devoid of bloodshed, he regarded a splash bewildered and moved directly to a distinctive undertaking. It does certainly look as though the logical situation for the all-powerful and omnibenevolent Christan god to do could be to forgive definitely everyone rather of, if truth be told, committing suicide. yet curiously good judgment would not paintings, as with maximum if no longer all religions. It only makes a stable sensational tale. you're no longer meant to ask questions, remember?

This belief is a fairy tale. The authors of the Gospels took many liberties. Only a fool would take these texts as an accurate and trustworthy account of historical events. There is nothing to show that Jesus was in fact divine, there is no reason to believe that god sent him to earth, and it is just plain fanciful to think that he died for us.

Jesus was an Apocalyptic Jew (which was a heresy at the time) who was also a very vocal preacher of his views. He gained a decent sized following and attacked the roman empire at it's base. The Romans and the temple leaders at the time both saw him as a threat and conspired to have him arrested and executed. Crucifixion was the popular method of the day. Thousands of people were crucified in those times.

If god does exist, he gave you brains to think for yourself. Not to make you repeat the same useless phrases all the time. How can you believe in a god that created beings just to worship him? What kind of megalomaniac does that make this god of you? How wrong and disoriented can a person become to get a blurred vision on reality like you? I wish you well though.

Yes. God knew beforehand that we would need Jesus. And He had already prepared the way. That is so awesome that He loves us so much. All the pain His Son had to endure for ungrateful people like us. To think about it is crazy. Nobody ever in the world other than Jesus would have done it. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are a powerful trio and I am so glad they love me.

Wasn't a fake idea of a creator such a good guy for killing his own son? Sure! Death is what God is all about, and what better way to be closer to God than to kill your whole family! Let's all go do that right now!

a dad sends his kid to be tortured and die, to get a story across to people, because as a god, he cannot find a better way to tell it -- and gee, it works so well that 2000 years later, over 70% of the people on earth still reject it for the fairy-tale nonsense that it is.

yeah, i can hardly wait to meet someone like that.

it's mythological fairy-tales, hon, created from other cults, mithraism and paganism. chill!!!
