When doing your workout routine, are you supposed to do cardio before or after weight training?

After because resistance training will deplete your glycogen stores. So when it is time to do your cardio, fat will be the fuel source your body turns to.

You want to get the best from your weight training routine so it's best NOT to expend the energy on cardio first. Do your weight sets first then do all the cardio you want! Just make sure you stretch before you train and do a couple of warm sets.

I have been told by a trainer that you should do about 10 minutes worth of cardio to warm up before a workout. Then you can do your normal weight routine and if you choose to, more cardio

If you are working out 5 days a week then split them up 3 days of working out 2 days of cardio. It all depends on how much cardio you are planning to do and what your goal is lose weight or gain muscle.

u can do it at ne time but its more effective if u do weights first n thn cardio........my physical instructor told me.......n its pretty much true.........works on meee
