No

The definition of tithe has changed over the year.
You used to give 10% of your savings (not your income) to the church. This money was used to help the poor. Today the government takes more than 10% of my income to help the poor.

I give to the church what ever i think they deserve.

If the doughnuts are good I give an extra buck.

Yes, that goes for support of the ministry like in the times of the Levites. We use another 10% to help with church maintenance, buying books to distribute (locally and an African project) or helping others in need.

We are not rich monitarily, but we have found out you can't out give God.

Technically, I give much more.

First of all, a significant part of your wages already go directly to state and federal social service programs that help the poor.

Second, I gladly donate to local charities, such as homeless shelters and food pantries.

I grew up; I went from giving 10% of net to 10% of gross to God recently.

No, but George Bush and his cronies help themselves to 28% of it every paycheck, and he thinks he has God on his side.

All to pay for his personal wars, greed, and lies. Yep sounds like the usual definition of God to me.

I don't. But I believe 100% is spent to the causes of God since every good I do with my money is for God's cause. :)

No. I would rather give money to a charity or to help friends and family.

every year, i throw a HUGE handful of cash up in the sky toward god.

what he wants, he keeps.

what he doesn't want, he lets fall back to earth, back to me, and i put it back into my pocket.
