i dont have the book of instructions of this camara and would like to know how does one take fotos to yourself , like 5 secs or 10 secs pause and then one can pose propely infront of the camara

Before taking the picture, press the "down" button (the button with the circle -- it looks like a clock). Then once the camera is set up, press the button to take a picture and the timer will start. You have about 5-10 seconds. The red light will flash faster & faster until it takes the picture.
