I want to get fit for the summer.....if I don't eat for three days will I loose a lotta weight?I know it is unhealthy but I am really desperate...I am only 13 and I weigh 125lbs...i feel so disscusting....=[

yeah, your body will say "oh no, i'm not getting new food!!!" and go into "survival mode", which will hang on to every little morsel of whats already in you.

what i'd recommend is to start excercising and focusing on eating right. it seems that people look for miracle cures, and will try a thousand things that never really work, when the whole time they could just do some excercise each day.

try to start by just doing 10 minutes in the morning. make that part of your habit. a little jogging, some push ups or sit ups, some stretching, basic stuff. also, try eat just to the point where your body has what it needs, but you dont feel "full", as in.... "oh man..... i gotta go lie down". dont eat to that point. last up, make sure that you eat healthy stuff. you can still eat the yummy stuff, but just make sure that every day you're getting a bit of fruit in there, and some veggies. have an orange in the morning. have an apple with your sandwich at lunch. instead of chocolate, or chips for snacks, have some grapes, strawberries, etc.

and 125 really isnt heavy at all. it depends on your height, body type, and muscle mass. muscle weighs more than fat does, so 2 people that are the same exact size can weigh different amounts if one of them is more toned than the other. and you're 13, you're not done growing and forming. i knew a girl that was kinda chunky at 13..... i'm sure she weighed a LOT more than 125, but by the time we were 16 she was gorgeous. she just had growing up to do, and she just focused a little more on eating right.

but, not eating will only make you sick, and you wont really lose any weight that way anyways. have fun with it, play a sport, ride a bike, go running with the dog, make fruit smoothies and stuff. being healthy doesnt need to be boring and bland.

Well, if you don't eat for 3 days, all you will lose is water weight and you will slow down your metabolism because you'll go into starvation mode. Just start to eat healthier (fruits, veggies, whole grain, lean dairy) and start to exercise (taking 30 min walks or running). I think you'll be more pleased with the results because you will actually lose body fat and not just water weight as when you starve yourself.

Just remember to be patient!

Please dont!! I know this isnt what you want to hear. Along with losing water weight you will also lose muscle tissue. Muscle tissue is more metabotically active than fat, meaning the more muscle you have the more calories you burn by just sitting there doing nothing. Talk to a dietician and let him/her explain the right food to eat to lose weight. Im so sad to hear all these stories of young kids desperatly trying to lose weight. No one is perfect.

If you want to get FIT, eat healthy and do exersize, if you wanna lose weight to the same but exersize more than you eat. The two aren't the same thing.

my dear i wouldn't advice you to do that, the simplest way is excise yourself and eat little food anytime you want to eat, and reduce you sleep ands avoid oil food for the main time that is, fat food like fried meat, groundnut, in fat any fried things for food. and drink less water. always take a long trek everyday. i believe it will help you.
