World War 1 ended November 11, 1918 when the Germans signed an armistice agreement with the Allies.

World War 2 ended September 2, 1945 when the Japanese surrendered to the Allies.

Not sure which one you're asking.

Officially over after Japanese surrendered on August 14th, 1945. The Germans surrendered after V-E Day in May of 1945. But the war continued till after we dropped the A-Bomb on Japan.

There were the official ceremonies, etc, as on board the Missouri but the "official" end of WWII came as a signed proclamation on December 31st, 1946. Signed by
Harry S. Truman, President of the USA.
This is the end as far as the United States is concerned.
Let it not be thought that the US speaks for the whole planet.

if you are asking about the 2ND world war then;
at the 1, may 1945 Hitler committed suicide and gave the authority to a the maryne general.
in the fifth of May the Russian army entered Berlin
at The 10th of May the German army calendared
every year at the 15 of May Russia celebrates by it's victory and the end of world war two.

The war on Germany officially ended in 1956 when hostilities were deemed to have finished by the UN.

If you're asking about World War 2, VJ day - the day the
Japanese surrendered to the Americans.

We haven't had a World War 11 ... yet.

In Europe, liberation day is May 8th, (9th in Channel islands. )When the atomic bomb was dropped in Japan , they surrendered, that was August 15th. 1945..
WWII was really 2 wars fought at the same time, the European war against the Nazi's and the Asian war against the Japanese.
