Tattoos should be meaningful...So here are a couple of suggestions.

The Jade butterfly which represents transformation and successful love.

Anchor
Steadfastness, My love is safe with you, Home to stay.

Ball in Cage
Love held safe, Years Together or Number of Children

Barley Sugar Twist
Derived from the rope theme carved by sailors.

Chain Links
Linking of Lives, No. of children , Years together

Comma Shapes
Soul Signs

Cross
Faith, Marriage

Diamond
Wealth, Good Fortune

Double Spoon
Togetherness

Dragon
Symbol of Wales, Protection

Flowers
Affection or Courtship, Friendship

Heart
My Heart is Yours, Love

Heart, Two
We feel the same about each other

Heart Shaped Bowl
Full and Bountiful Life

Horseshoe
Good Luck and Happiness

Key & Keyhole
Home & Security, My house is yours

Knot
Everlasting, together forever

Leaves
Love Grows

Ship
Smooth passage through life

Vine
Love Grows

Wheel
Willingness to work for a loved one

Double Spoons
The Couple Together Forever

Triple Spoons
Family

If you need some idea of what these pics could look like, go to a search engine and under images look for pictures of the above examples (for example carved double spoon). I am sure if you talked to your tattoo artist, you and he/she could come up with something beautiful and original.

I hope this helped...Good luck

well tatoos stretch fade and look old it will look good for a few years but the colors will fade and when you get older with wrinkles it will wrinkle too

but if you must get one place it where no one can see it

the most intimate feeling between the two of you. the artist will figure it out. just talk to him. he or she knows more about tatoos than the both of you put together. and the best of love to you two. moonraven/cinderella

Have two swords pointing upward with their hilts touching, and then maybe put either of your initials on the hilts?

two intertwining shooting stars....or two shooting starts heading toward each other or colliding. it represents that you both shine and are unique in your own ways but together your love shines brighter.

my advice...

DONT GET A TATTOO. trust me on this, just saying; if you just dont like him anymore or u split up then that is like a scar. but its not just like every scar, you see that u did that on ur free will and it hurts you every day of your life. ( even if it doesnt hav his name on it)

Remember Tattoos are permident.
