Try to be specific please, like instead of just saying "San Francisco", say "In San Francisco, you can tour Alcatraz Island, and Fisherman's wharf, and walk the Golden Gate Bridge" kay? THANKS!

You could try Vegas, so much to do and see and not just gambling. To relax go out to lake Mead, it is huge and awesome. Then you must see Hoover dam. You can get inexpensive hotel and food in the city, and it only takes a few minutes to escape the hectic pace and hit the desert and lake.

could be somewhat out of variety, yet i might head in the direction of Gulf shorelines, there is plenty ot do there and you will't beat seashores. yet i'm from Wisconsin, so I merely crave the sea coast and am bias. in case you had to flow to the ozarks in Arkansas, this is extremely mind-blowing as nicely.
