I have gone to them nearly exclusively for years...even back when they were cost cutters before Regis bought them all out (only the locations inside of Wal-Mart) and have no complaints, but as with any place your cut is only as good as your stylist. Your best bet would be to watch for a while and see which stylist is the busiest or ask customers as they come out if they have been coming here for a while and what stylist they use.
The stylists at the SmartStyles I go to are all very good. They have been doing it for years, and most of them come from "professional" salons. Two of them are Vidal-Sassoon trained master stylists.

Well im not from the area, neither do i know which salon is better than the other but i think you could do some research to decide. Go check them out, see which one has more clients coming in, more buisness, more regulars. If they have people who come back then they are of good quality. Just check that out, and meet the people who work there and decide where you would rather be working Goodluck

No sorry. I always do my hair at a professional salon because I'm scared they will mess it up. I have layers and stuff. But if you just want a simple hair cut than walmart is good place. Because they don't charge as much. But if you are wanted like layers or swept bangs or something go somewhere else!

listen, my family (mom brother sister me) went there to get hair cuts for a funeral we were going too, because some of our family ... well little rude. Anyways, my brother Kevin went first, my mom asked nothing to much just some scissoring done around the front no clipping/shaving. My mom walks back to my sister and me to get something out of her purse and she turns around and the lady is shaving my brothers head! well, the lady then got into a fight with my mom and we left. and my brother had a HUGE chunk of hair missing.
The end.
so i tell you not to go there. and i have heard that lady stills works there!

I've only went there once and the hair dressers were nice. Also my hair looked great but it was sorta expensive. Well at my Wal-Mart it was, so yours might differ.
