Yes-Morihei Ueshiba was a sketchy character in some ways but during RFK's visit to Japan he was able to toss his secret service agents around like dolls during an impromptu demonstration. RFK was said to be greatly amused and gave his minders a rough time for being made to look silly by an old man.

I would say yes, but it takes a long time to master. It's more for someone who is looking for an art that is spiritually fulfilling as well as physical. For straight-up learning to fight, it's one of the last I would pick.

yes it is one that i respect very much it is very difficult to master and it is based as a nonviolent form which in my eyes is very very respectable i would train in it myself if they was a school nearby me but since i live in a secluded place my choices are kenpo which is what i study ju jitzu or shaolin
