ingrown toenails are just caused by how you cut your toenails. If you cut them curved at the ends then they will grow sideways causing the ingrown. Cut them straight and there will be no problem. Dont worry you dont have diabetes, unless you have serious signs relating to it such as:
* Increased thirst
* Increased urination
* Weight loss in spite of increased appetite
* Fatigue
* Nausea
* Vomiting

You should go smack your friend for saying that. NO, having an ingrown toenail does not mean you're a diabetic. Yes, you will have symptoms if you do. You will either gain or lose a large amount of weight, you will be really thirsty all the time, and you will urinate frequently. You will find that if you get really hungry, you will become lightheaded and irritable. Breast cancer is just simply a lump in your breast that doesn't feel like normal breast tissue, there might be some skin dimpling around the lump. Both conditions are serious, and if you are worried, please see a doctor.

The toenail/diabetes connection comes from the fact that diabetics have poor circulation in their feet and hands. As such, a diabetic's feet should be tended by a professional, such as a podiatrist or a GOOD, reputable, CLEAN nail shop.

(8) Blurring of vision may develop.
(9) High fasting blood sugar content >120 mg%
(10) Urine may be positive for sugar.

Symptoms of BREAST CANCER.
1. Any change in size of the breast.
2. Bloody, yellow, or green discharge from the nipple.
3. Any lump in the breast or in the armpit, usually painless.
4. Any dimpling or change in the texture of the skin of the breast.
5. A change in the shape of the nipple;
6. Any persistent irritation scaling, sour or ulcer of the nipple.
An ingrown toenail can result from curved toenails, poorly fitting shoes, toenails that are trimmed improperly, or a toe injury. The skin around the toenail may become red and infected. The great toe is usually affected, but any toenail can become ingrown.
The condition may become serious in people with diabetes.
