I love a really nice grilled vegetable salad with aspargus, tomatoes, red peppers, red onion, yellow squash, then toss it all in a balsamic vinegarette.....it is always a crowd pleaser! Or else what my family calls silage, but it is cabbage finley sliced, sunflower seeds, one bag of ramen noodles crushed, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of cider vin, 1/2 cup oil, and 1/2 of the ramen seasoning packet, and some salt if needed....it is ALWAYS a hit and a new take on cole slaw!

Roasted rosemary potatoes. The steaks are rich and heavy, and these make a wonderful counterpoint. Get a pound of baby red potatoes, scrub and cut in half (quarter if large), place on foil covered baking pan, drizzle with one to two tablespoons of olive oil, snip fresh rosemary over, salt and pepper. Toss to cover with oil and seasonings. Roast in preheated 450 oven for 20 minutes, turning once. They are so tasty and fragrant.

For steaks, it would be a big, fluffy baked potato.
For BBQ w/ sauce on it, I like sweet-hot beans and potato salad.
