when i went a couple of years ago, i stayed at a best western in wythville, va. right where routes 81 and 77 meet, an hour from the track. even that far away, the rate was $150.00 per night. how do you feel about camping? on the road the track is on, their are many homeowners who let people camp in their yards for a small fee. i was just throwing that out there.

I don't think you will find one with any vacancies this late in the game. My buddy is staying in Knoxville, I think he said it was about 1 1/2 hrs from there. There are not many large towns around where the track is so you will probably have to try the bigger cities. This link below would have people that can tell you better than me.

Actually, nascarjimbo is correct. The traffic leading out of Bristol after the race is outrageous.

Well i hate to tell you,it will take 3-4 hrs just to get back to the interstate after the race.Maybe! I would trade the bristol ticket's for TALLADEGA tickets. way more fun, but thats only one person's opinion.
