If you plan on using it more than once, just go to RadioShack & get a 100 channel programmable & a set of headphones. Set you back about $100.00 You can buy a scanner frequency list at the track for $5.00. Program 43 channels to the car numbers (Truex on channel 1, Kahne on 9, etc) and use the leftovers for the tower frequencies, MRN, Fire-Rescue, etc.

i have saeson tickets to bristol and last season they were 30 dollars to rent in years before they were 25 so they may increase this year but last year they were 30 also to the guy talking about programing the frequency for the drivers are only 5 bucks

like 35 bucks to rent one and to buy is alot more but dont forget they charge you to program them as well which is another 15 to 30 bucks depending on the booth you get it from sio shop the booths before you settle for one

i have never been there, but to a whole bunch of other tracks& finally bought one @the local radio shack & it works great!! plus you can use it as a police scanner also on the way home from the track!!! hope it helps you it did me!!

to buy one it is about 120 but to rent one for the weekend is about 30 buck so take your pick
