You KNOW nobody can reform protestants. They broke off from Catholicism a long time ago to do their own thing.

Your premesis that "Catholics are now more humane" is absurd, and typical of the rampant ignorance of historical facts. Catholics don't pump out false histories to attack Protestants the way Protestants have for the past 450 years. The myths surrounding the Inquisition and the Crusades continue to be accepted as "facts" to this very day. Even some Baptist bible colleges no longer teach that post-reformist rhetoric.

It's true that SOME people abused their power, and sinned against God and the Church. That was sin, not Church teaching.
Catholics have provided education and health care in preaching the Gospel to every nation in every century wherever she goes. It's part of her identity that anti-Catholics are blind to.
The problem is that the world doesn't like the Church's implementation. Truth will always be on the scaffold, and power will always be on the throne.

How is that funny? Catholic Social Teaching is an important portion of the Church's doctrine. Considering that LIberation Theology comes from the Catholic Church, it shouldn't be a suprise at all.
