I have about 5 rooms in my house that we are going to change from other tile to tile and carpet to tile. Each room averages about 14 x 14. Anyone know how long that whole process might take, assuming we have a good company who wants to do it in a timely manner? Does anyone know if we have to not walk on it for a certain amount of time (if so, how long?) Thanks!

A couple things that must be considered are what type of tile you are having installed (Vinyl, hard tiles such as ceramic) and how much prep needs to be done before installation. If floors need to be leveled or lots of adhesives or stuck backing from the carpets. Is your subfloor capable of handling the new tile? Walking time also depends on the type of tile. You cannot walk on tiles that are set in mortar or thinset for 24 hours. Then after grouting, you will need to let it dry also.
