He is going to get a 4X2 with 5.7 L Hemi. We only pull our pontoon boat, so we don't need a 4X4. He has an F150 now. I am particularly interested in any problems that anyone has had. Thanks!

I don't know of any problems with the Rams. My son has two of them, his ex girlfriend has one, and they absolutely LOVE them.....i think you and your hubby will be very pleased:)

The Hemis give great power but not much else. They've got major reliability issues, and the Ram as a whole is on the bottom of the full-size truck list for Consumer Reports. They haven't rated the new Silverado, but if it rates similarly to the Avalanche, it's a great buy.
