- only God could live a perfect life.

Christ Jesus, being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled Himself, and became obedient to death - even death on a cross.
Philippians 2 verse 5-8

It was writen after his death, of course they'd say that as the truth has been modified and corrupted over time. Philippians was written for the Greeks, holy man and son of god could be the same word. I think the writer was tryign to compare Jesus with the Greek heroes of the time (whose extraordinary feats led to them being exaggerated and considered demigods over time)
It said he was in the very nature God, what that tells me is he was a prophet, spreading God's word. Like the disciples touched by the Holy Spirit. They weren't the spirit themselves but they were under its influence. In the same way Jesus was a holy man under God's influence. It said he didn't consider equality with God, that show he's a normal man and not a deity.
All that bible verse proves is Jesus was poor and low in society and was crucified for his beliefs.

You are leaving out so much. Continue reading your Bible. Do not draw all conclusions from one verse. Your on the rite path. You don't go to college and open up a book and open the middle of the book read one page and claim yourself an expert on the subject taught in the text book. Read on. Every man will find his own answer.

Lord Shiva has proved to me that He is the Supreme God. And Lord Ganesha has proved that He is also a powerful God, and the Son of God. And the cobra is a sacred animal, worthy of my worship. How do I know all this? From Hindu scriptures and from meditation. And from my Guru. So, does that mean you're wrong? Or that I'm also right?

Actually, if one were able to accept the Bible as complete historical fact, rather than a text written by people to support a particular religious view, that might make sense. Unfortunately, one cannot do that.

Thanks for the sermon loosely veiled as a question.

Jesus also said that the Second coming of God would happen during the lives of the disciples. check your Bible, it's in the Gospels. So, that must have happened too, which means that we're living in the new heaven so we don't have to worry about sin or going to hell, cause we already live in Heaven!!! wow, It's sure not what I thought it would be.

But what if Jesus were just another man?? Do you have NON-BIBLICAL EVIDENCE that he was the son of god? Quoting Bible verses in this forum won't convince anyone of your claims.

Jesus didn't live a perfect life. You can't prove it, and a number of early gospels say otherwise. Whoops. Sorry about your proof, I'll buy you another one.

I am queen of the world. Because I say so. I've got this silly plastic crown to prove it. And according to me and all my friends, who are writing down everything I do, I've never screwed up in my life.
