i need to take topamax can i purchase it cheaper here

If you don't have insurance, then you'll find your prescriptions are cheaper at wholesale clubs like Costco and Sam's Club. And you don't have to be a member to use their pharmacy (if I remember correctly).

Of course, there is Walmart's $4 generic program. But Topamax is not available generically yet, so that doesn't count.

Yes, you should be able to find lower prices. But it requires that you "shop around" Go to the various drugs stores etc. and ask for what they charge. Many stores now have a price list available for you to view and if they don't just ask, you are not required to buy. I believe there are even web sites that have comparison price lists for various localities. Google might be the place to check under price comparisons for your drug. I have shopped around and found lower prices myself.

as long as your doctor prescribes it for you, you can look around at the pharmacies on the internet and order the cheapest one.. they'll fax your doctor to get his permission for them to fill it and send it to you... You have to watch out though because sometimes there are hidden charges that actually make it cost more..
