If the mother lets her do it, then probably not. Most kitties don't have the luxury of having their moms around. I think that is a wonderful bond they have!
She'll get tired of it eventually and put kitty in her place!

when the kittens are young, around 4 weeks or so, you should have made sure the kittens had no access to mommy so that they would learn to eat only kitten food and to stop suckling. i know its hard, ive been there, but its for those adorable little kittens!

Is she still lactating? We had barn cats that would do that too, and like the other post said, the mother will eventually get fed up with it. Just curious, has she came into heat while still nursing? I have heard they won't...e-mail me!
