Well, if you really feel the need to, just lose some weight. But only do that if you feel you really need to. Don't change yourself because of other people's stupid remarks. There is someone out there who will accept you for you, and that's all you need.

For your height you are are I am sorry to tell you but you are clinically obese. For your height you should be no more than 140 lbs. That means that you are grossly overweight. I am not trying to hurt your feelings, but if you want to be more approachable and attractive to the opposite sex, you must lose weight, not only because of that but most important your health. You are a candidate for heart attack, diabetes, and many other diseases.
I would see a doctor right away and discuss with the doctor that you would want to lose weight and see what the doctor suggests. Do not accept diet pills, as they are a temporary fix. You may be the type of person who needs structure and meals that have been designed for you already, such as Jenny Craig. The Zone Diet is delivered to your door every week and you eat structured calorie counted meals prepared by them. Maybe Weight Watchers where you would go to meetings and learn how to eat and prepare your own foods. But along with the diet, you must have an exercise program. That is so important. I would start slow. Go to a gym and ask for them to design a exercise program for you. Try to go maybe three times a week in the beginning. Take a walk every day about three to five miles. You must move your body. But you must do something because you will continue to gain weight especially if you are eating high calorie and high carohydrate foods. Right now make an effort to cut out McDonalds, Burger King, and any junk food...
Don't be discouraged, just make your weight loss a goal and have a focus in mind. I wish you good luck.

One guy said you should be 140 lbs. WRONG. I am 5 foot 4 and I weigh 177lbs but I workout so It looks good. First of all you should try to lose some weight, not just for weight sake but for your mental health, exercise is a great way to decrease stress and generate feelings of accomplishment, find an exercise routine that you really enjoy and do it alot. Hitting the heavy bag does it for me.Secondly if a girl thinks you are too short then the relationship will never work out, not because of your height but because of her being shallow, you don't want someone who is an intelectual dwarf, because she will make a poor lover in every area.What is important is not what you are dealt but what you do to develop / or in spite of what you are dealt. Like I said I am 5 foot 4 and I am an accomplished pianist, drummer, guitar player, singer / song writer, I am recording a CD right now. (by the way I have a recording studio in my house)I am an excellent cook and I know how to treat the people in my life whom I love, my fiance is 14 years younger than me (and yes she is wickid hot)Tom cruise is short, Marvin Hagler former middle weight champ of the world was not much taller than me. ( I met him and he has this very unspoken pressence about him. someone twice his size would be making a costly mistake to call him short) and from what I understand there is a cat in the NBA who is only 5 foot 4. So don't waste your time with these girls who are gonna end up with some really tall guy who is going to sh-t all over them.peace bro, stay short.

Stop trying to to date models. Drop the bar to women with figures like yourself. Funny part is most women are not as wrapped up with looks as men are. Maybe your approach sux and they are being mean to make you leave faster?
Next time ask one for some serious advice. When one agrees ask her about your appearance other then the height and weight, and about how you come across as a person. Tell her you want to know so you can make a better approach to the next women you like.

Well you can't help beening short, so you need to make it work for you. I'm not sure how, but there are alot of short girls out there. As for you wieght, You need to eat health and in moderation and exercise daily. That is the best advise I can offer.
