How about housework? Seriously you could like do the hoovering and washing up and dusting n ****. You could make her breakfast in bed perhaps. Etc etc. The time and the effort will probably be more appreciated than a gift.

Oh dear, you shouldn't have left it til the last minute to buy that present! Never mind, set your alarm tonight, get up early and make her breakfast in bed. If you haven't got a card, write her a short letter, thanking her for everything and telling her how much you love her, and put that on the breakfast tray. Later, you can make yourself useful and do some jobs for her without being asked, eg., helping to prepare lunch, tidying, etc. Just make it a really nice day for her, with you being at your very nicest. Sometimes what a Mum values most is a bit of TLC (Tender, Loving Care). Have a good day!

Yes, the presents you don't buy are the best presents to give your mother. Make her a nice card and include a sincere and loving message...share your heart....thank her for all the special things she has done for you...show your appreciation. Include in the card some "home made coupons" such as....This coupon is good for ......1) I will clean the house for you 2) I will wash and wax the car 3) A makeover...do your nails together or a facial etc... 4) I will make you dinner for a change...all of your favorites....
Believe me this will mean more to her and show her your love.

First, for the non-believers, Mothering Day is March 18 in the UK according to my calendar. Now- as a Mother myself I would have to say that spending time with my children is very precious to me -- but so is some relaxation time. Perhaps you could pamper her a bit with a homemade breakfast or lunch that you share together. Then do a few chores around the house so that she may sit with a book and simply relax. For me, that would be the ultimate Mother's Day! Even though you had a spat, you are still thinking of your mom, You are a very thoughtful child and your mother is very lucky.

Your mum is most likely being honest, I don't want anything for tomorrow, I don't like the term, 'Mother's Day' to me it's 'Mothering Sunday'.
Tomorrow I just want my children to be there with me, make a fuss of me, do things without asking, for example, make a cup of tea, help with the dinner, help with the washing up, spend time for a chat, real quality time with them, that's what mums really want.
You can always make a card for her, write a lovely verse if you can, if not try this one:-
It's the day of the year,
When I shall see my mother
Bringing her my love
On this her special day
(ending with)
Happy Mother's day
Or Happy Mothering Sunday
Mum
With love from
xx
The card could have a picture of you and your mum together, or just you mum, it doesn't have to be too fancy.
Then enjoy the day with you mum.
If you want to go out and buy some flowers or chocs for her tomorrow.

Hiya, For a start you could make her a home made card. and if you like you could make her a home made photo frame, "pieces of card the same size, one for the back, the front one cut out a square or a circle (that's to show off the picture) cover it with wrapping paper or old material, then stick the front to the back leaving one side open to slide your photo into it and put a nice photo of you both in it to show he how much you love her. Oh and tomorrow help her about the house with cleaning, dishes. Good Luck

What about making her a card and making a voucher. The voucher can have anything on there that you are willing to do for her for mothers day such as washing up, ironing, cooking tea and maybe do her a nice breakfast.

It may sound corny, but I think she would appreciate a home made card from you telling her that you love her and anything else nice you would want her to know. Maybe if you could write a little poem in the card too.
