how often can I renew a 1 year visa to Australia as my only daughter lives there and we are not able to apply?

for a permanent visa until she has lived there for 2 years and we would like to stay for upt to 12 months as often as we can, can we keep renewing a 12 month visa through the Australian EMbassy?
